MY NAME IS Laina
Hey friends, I'm so humbled you're here. I'm Laina, an East Coast wedding photographer nestled in the heart of Jacksonville, Florida. My husband Austin and I are both South Carolina born and currently living life in Jacksonville, Florida. We've been married for two years now and he's simply my best friend and greatest gift from the Lord. It's been a joy doing life together. We love spending our free time amidst the outdoors: hiking, rock-climbing, traveling to foreign countries, trying new coffee shops, and watching peachy colors form at sunset. We spend lots of time with our goofy little Siberian cat, Caspian. And last but certainly not least, we are here on this earth to bring glory to our Savior Jesus!
A little about me
I love || morning light hours, finding kindred spirits, the color blue, anything & everything C.S. Lewis, seeing people smile with their eyes, finding out peoples' myers-briggs personality type, a good concert with raw acoustics, art museums, taking time to relish a moment, finding identity and worth in the power of Christ alone, old black and white prints, reading classics, people-watching at airports (but really who doesn't?), when people feel like home, poetry of the heartfelt kind, late night kitchen-floor convos, tight hugs, music played from the heart.
That’s a little sneak peek into my life and a few of my favorite things. No matter who and where we are, we’re all souls wandering this beautiful earth, with a different story to share. No tale is one and the same. And that’s why I LOVE documenting love stories (and hopefully yours too!).

Whether it's spending the morning with the mother-of-the-bride and the bridal squad helping you get ready or with hanging with the groomsmen as they spiffy up, I'm in. I will be on all day watching out for every special moment so that you can simply enjoy the day! I'll be there to help ensure things flow smoothly while documenting the getting ready prep through to ceremony, reception and hey, maybe even that afterparty. I'll be there in the centre of it all photographing moments and details that you're right in the midst of or little moments you might’ve missed.
